Liberty Hierarchy:

Role Explanations:

Director-  Leader of Liberty Industries.  Directly manages all large scale projects, primary coordinator and planner for all company projects.

​

Head Researcher-  Oversees and coordinates all Liberty researcher projects.  Works with individual researchers and department heads to accomplish project goals.  Assumes leadership role in the absence of the Director.

​

Department Heads-  Supervises specialized work and projects related to their fields of expertise.  Assists with general company needs and projects.  Assists researchers who request resources from their department.   

​

Senior Researcher-  Experienced, long term researcher with Liberty Industries.  Provides support to department heads, conducts individual research with minimal oversight.  Assists with company projects.  Mentors newer researchers and assistants.

​

Researcher-  Standard member.  Often works primarily in one department and supports the others where needed.  Conducts individual research with some supervision from a department head.  Assists with company projects.

​

Research Assistant- Someone new to the areas they are studying or with minimal experience in research.  Assists with company projects under the supervision of a senior researcher or department head until they are confident in their ability to work independently in their area(s) of interest.

​

Contractor- Skilled tradesperson or scholar working for Liberty Industries on contract due to specialized skills or labor necessary to the success of LI functions and/or projects.

​

Staff- Employees of Liberty Industries not involved directly with research functions.  Their roles include but aren't limited to functions like administration, maintenance of facilities, or security.
